PRESERVE CALAVERA IS AN ENVIORNMENTALLY-BASED NON-PROFIT LOCATED IN NORTH SAN DIEGO COUNTY FOCUSED ON PROTECTING, RESTORING, AND IMPROVING OPEN SPACES IN NORTH SAN DIEGO COUNTY. ACTIVITIES INCLUDE OPEN SPACE LAND ACQUISTION, WILDLIFE MONITORING, CLIMATE ACTION PLAN OVERSIGHT, OUTDOOR EDUCATION AND OUTREACH, AND SPECIAL EVENTS INCLUDING CLEAN-UPS, INVASIVE MANAGEMENT, NATURE DAYS, AND NATURALIST WALKS.

This event is fun and friendly for those who like to go outdoors, learn about plants, and do not get grossed out by snails :). The organizers of the event are very sweet and friendly, and the work is not too labor intensive.
