Mission Statement

Center For the advancement of Liberian Youth (CFTAOLY) is dedicated to providing Youth and the community an opportunity to gain experience and transferable skills by providing quality education, by supporting access to community heath and capacity building utilizing biblical principle and the Christian faith.

Description

  1. What we do
  2. Eliminate the necessity of children selling on the streets for food and replace it with children in the classrooms learning to build stronger and lasting communities.
  3. Offer accessible and quality education to primary and secondary school-aged children in fully-equipped classrooms.
  4. Give scholarships for tuition, books, materials and mentorship programs to the youth of Liberia and encourage them to pursue advance studies.
  5. Work with teachers, both in the U.S. and Liberia to recruit and retain qualified teachers and train future teachers.
  6. Build a church that will proclaim the Word of God through preaching and evangelism.
  7. Open a health clinic to treat chronic illness and promote wellness and prevention.
