Mission Statement
The PA Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Association, together with national and local CASA programs, supports and promotes court appointed volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children so they can thrive in safe, permanent homes.
Description
PA CASA is a statewide association for Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteers and locally based programs. We do broad-based education on the CASA concept, provide assistance to those local programs that are currently in place in Pennsylvania and work to increase the number of programs throughout the state so that more children can be served. In working with government leaders, the courts, the child welfare system and others, we will strive to create an environment in which present programs can prosper and new program development is facilitated.
