Mission Statement

Canada’s favourite Festival is back! Come join us as we celebrate the 24th anniversary of Canada’s largest street Festival (approximately 1.65 million attendees) as well as Canada & Ontario’s 150th birthday on Friday August 11th, Saturday August 10th, and Sunday August 12th. To top it off, the Festival is all about the spirit of giving back - Constantine Voidonicolas, Chair of the Greektown Danforth BIA, confirmed that once again all proceeds from the Festival go to supporting a number of charities.

Description

The Taste of the Danforth 2018 is just around the corner, occurring from August 10-12th and we’re currently recruiting for volunteers. The Taste of the Danforth is an annual not-for-profit street Festival that celebrates Greek culture specifically in addition to all cultures alike. With all the proceeds going to the Sick Kids Hospital, Toronto East General Hospital Foundation, and Agia Sofia Children’s Hospital, this Festival would not be possible without its dedicated volunteers.
