HEART OF ILLINOIS UNITED WAY

Description

The Heart of Illinois United Way brings together business, labor, government, and health and human care sectors to tackle complex community issues related to education, income and health. Each year, thousands of individuals volunteer in some capacity for the Heart of Illinois United Way. These volunteers help with workplace campaigns, volunteer for GENeration United or Youth United, put teams together for Day of Caring, serve on grant review panels, help with labor and special events or oversee committees such as finance and marketing. In total, more than 30,000 volunteer hours are contributed to the community through the United Way.
