Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness worldwide and to making adequate, affordable shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat invites people from all faiths and walks of life to work together in partnership, building houses with families in need

Description

Cayuga County Habitat has rehabbed or build 20 homes in 20 years impacting lives by offering partner families the opportunities be a homeowner; local people the chance to volunteer on a home project which changes lives and to learn new skills; and be involved in projects which improve our community. We hope to complete 1 - 2 homes per year and look for donations of time, energy, materials and support from individuals, groups and businesses.
