Mission Statement

The Mission of Contemporary Development Initiatives (CONDI) stands on five (5) developmental pillars to adequately provide and transform the lives of the less fortunate and vulnerable women and children especially those in slum and least developed communities through several opportunities; namely: Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Food Security and Nutrition, Capacity Building, Child Protection and IT Consultancy and Training;

Description

The aims and objectives of the organization shall include, but not be limited to the following:

  1. To ensure access to water and sanitation for all
  2. To strengthen innovative financing that will promote sustainibility
  3. The reduction of water-related diseases and the optimization of the health benefits of sustainable water and water management
  4. Increase awareness about the importance of ensuring sustainable sanitation for all and prompt appropriate action and advocates for an equity-based approach that focuses on the poorest and most marginalized populations;
  5. To ensure that food, nutrition and livelihood security, at the household level, is strengthened thereby ensuring greater resilience to future "shocks" such as conflict, drought, flood, disease and inflation;
  6. Help eliminate hunger, food insecurity and malnutrition
  7. To promote peace and unity through developmental initiatives.
  8. To seek the welfare of all children and their caregiver.
  9. To identify capacity needs/gaps and respond adequately.
  10. To participate in humanitarian ventures;
  11. To establish programs for improving the socio-economic status of all;
  12. Manage an effective volunteer-exchange program
