Description
AARV is a fund raising non-profit that supports the work of Grace Resources, founded by Steve 'Pappa' Baker 28 years ago. Steve is currently the Executive Director and has made it his life mission to help the 'down but not out' in our community. John Meyer, the President of AARV inc. saw the need to help when "Pappa' had to close the Shelter he founded. There just wasn't enough funds to satisfy the needs of all. Mr. Meyer used his own funds to create art work, logo and website as well as provide the funds necessary to funds to form the 501(c)3 and all legal work associated. Mr. Meyer is a Disabled Veteran and retired businessman and like 'Pappa' has decided to devote his time to helping Grace Resources complete it's mission. John has been a 'one man show'over the past 6 months since forming AdoptaAtiskVeteran (AARV). It's time to expand.
