Mission Statement

The Mission of OSF HealthCare is to serve persons with the greatest care and love in a community that celebrates the gift of life.

Description

We are currently a group of 32 volunteers with unique talents, interests, and goals. Together we provided 3,424 volunteer hours, last year, to Hospice patients/families that needed our help. We read to patients, helped clean their homes, ran errands, provided check in calls, and sent out Hospice mailings.
It's important we take care of ourselves too though! So we have fun and informative meetings. Here are some of our past meetings: learning to salsa dance, movie night, massage techniques, and how to have meaningful visits with Hospice patients.

Not only do I work for this organization, but I have had family on services with us. The amazing thing is, EVERY hospice patient is treated like they are family. Compassion and respect are their foundations.
