It is our goal to raise community awareness and provide a welcoming place for people to utilize. As a 2017 winner of the Achievement of Excellence in Libraries Award, we strive to showcase the importance of learning and literacy through our wide range of programs for all ages and interests, presentations, displays, and many other avenues to engage patrons. Community involvement is paramount to our continuing to provide the excellent services our community expects and deserves. The Abilene Public Library wishes to encourage any interested person to volunteer and be a part of something amazing.
