Mission Statement

Shelburne Rescue exists to provide quality life safety, prehospital emergency medicine, and public safety services to the residents, employees, and visitors of the Town of Shelburne. Through its volunteer staff it promotes civic service, community, and pride in the Town of Shelburne.

Description

Shelburne Rescue is a department of the municipality of the Town of Shelburne, primarily staffed by volunteers whose objectives are to save lives and prevent or alleviate suffering through effective application of its skills at the scene of an injury or sudden illness and during transport to a hospital. The volunteers of Shelburne Rescue work to further our knowledge of, and abilities in, emergency care of the sick and injured and to increase the public’s knowledge of our functions.
