Position Title: Ladies T.A.L. K Monthly Meeting Administrative Assistant Department: LADIES T.A.L. K Employment Term: 1 Year (min. 10 hours - max. 15 hours weekly) Reports to: Monthly Meeting Lead Salary: Unpaid Internship / Volunteer Ladies T.A.L. K is a platform designed to educate, mentor, and empower women that desire to break free from circumstances that undervalue their potentials or undermine their creativity. Ladies T.A.L. K's goal is to help women become (Top-Notch, Accomplished, Leader, Knowledgeable) women they are destined to be. We are seeking high energy individuals to help plan our monthly meetings. These meetings allow women to connect, discuss, and share their experiences. This volunteer opportunity will run from December 5th 2022 to December 31st 2023 and will renew unto the new year with a three-day orientation and one-week mandatory virtual training. The schedule for this position is flexible. Duties & Responsibilities: Meet with other team members once a week (or more if deemed necessary by team lead) to plan for monthly meetings. Research and acts as a point of contact for potential guest speakers for monthly meetings and organizations for partnership. Create interactive meeting ideas to engage attendees based on the theme of the month. Strategize with team lead on how to mobilize and increase monthly meeting participants attendance. Document meeting updates in Microsoft Teams. Working with the team lead to create bi-weekly reports and uploading reports to Microsoft Teams. Creating demographics of meeting attendees to strategize on efficient ways of following up with the attendees. Brainstorm with team lead to create "team bonding" events, whether in-person or virtual. Send emails, making phone calls, and communicating with past meeting attendees. Drafts meeting minutes to team in a timely manner. Assists Ladies T.A.L.K staff with administrative support as availability allows. Aside from the duties and responsibilities required, the monthly meeting assistant (and the monthly meeting team lead) will: Work closely with the Membership Program Staff to plan exclusive networking events along with other meetings designed for Ladies T.A.L. K members. Work with the social media team to provide details and content about upcoming monthly meetings and provide the social media team with Eventbrite registration and any relevant information needed to upcoming meetings. Preferred Qualification and Skills: Positive attitude, vibrant, energetic, willingness to bring new ideas and work in a fast-paced environment. Able to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic work environment. Strong written and oral communication skills and confident in speaking with new people from diverse backgrounds. Detail-oriented with strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Resourcefulness, creativity, and problem-solving skill set and strong cultural awareness and sensitivity Demonstrate use of computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook. Ability to develop effective work plans, organize details, set priorities, and meet deadlines. Must have a reliable working computer or laptop. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion. Open minded and eager to learn new skills. Requirements: Available to begin on start date December 19th, 2022 Available to attend monthly meetings virtually every first Saturday of the month Able to attend mandatory training Able to participate in team meetings Some flexibility with nights and Saturdays Working Environment: This internship opportunity is 100% virtual. Volunteers will utilize Microsoft Teams and Outlook to communicate with their team and program leads.
