Mission Statement

The mission of Barton Center, a nonprofit, self supporting organization, is to offer a variety of social, educational, recreational and health related activities, classes, programs and services to enrich the quality of life for people 55 and above.

Description

Barton Center is located on the ground floor of the Westerly Apartments, home for senior citizens. We offer activities and programs, in conjunction with the service coordinators of the apartment building, to help our population to socialize, laugh, learn and remain independent and active. We offer many free programs, along with some activities which we sell tickets for, due to the fact that refreshments accompany the activity. Some of our members are singers, writers, have entries in the Leading Age Ohio annual show, act in plays. Our main goal is to involve members in activities and see the smiles from people enjoying themselves.
