Mission Statement

Petal Power USA’s mission is to exemplify God’s love and hope to all people through the distribution of flowers. It is our intent to help aid in the fight against mental illness and educate in physical and mental health by partnering with individuals or organizations to advocate a philosophy that flowers bring a positive change. We strive to encourage humanity by the simple gesture of offering flowers to those in need, in the hope to encourage a brighter future, one petal at a time.

Description

Petal Power USA began in 2012 with Whole Foods Market, as a community initiative by a high school student looking to make a difference. In 2014 Petal Power became the first 501(c) (3) nonprofit of its’ kind dedicated to delivering free flowers to individuals and organizations. Today, Petal Power delivers hundreds of flowers from the support of local retailers to low-income families, and non-profit organizations such as domestic violence shelters, homeless shelters, hospitals, nursing homes, soup kitchens, mental health facilities, etc.

Petal Power understands the positive affects flowers have on a person’s psychosocial development. Through our deliveries, we can see an immediate emotional uplift in a person’s mood by one simple gesture of giving flowers. We affirm this positive reaction is confirmation that flowers do encourage and change the environment for a person who may be going through a difficult time or low point in his/her life.
