Mission Statement

The Harrison Township Beautification is committed to continual aesthetic, cultural, and environmental improvement to advance our community and increase pride and unity for current residents, visitors, and future generations.


Harrison Township Beautification Commission creates and maintains community gardens throughout Harrison Township. They have regular annual events including a litter pick-up, plant exchange, Great Gardening resident garden recognition, Garden Tour, tree-plantings, and Veteran's Memorial Program. They also conduct a Sculpture Donation Program, with plans of installing sculptures throughout the community.
