Mission Statement

Family Rescue is dedicated to eliminating domestic violence in the Chicago community by providing comprehensive support services and shelter to victims of domestic violence, particularly women and children; engaging in advocacy to promote future system change; and encouraging prevention through community education.

Description

Family Rescue provides comprehensive services to over 1,500 survivors of domestic violence each year throughout the Chicago metropolitan through four core programs: emergency shelter with our 24-hour hotline, transitional housing with after-school program, community outreach and prevention program, and legal advocacy located in 2 Chicago Police Districts and the DV courthouse.
