Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide English as a second language, literacy, or math instruction to adult learners. We aim to help students who are seeking new or better employment, permanent residents seeking to become American citizens, and students hoping to earn their GED or enter an American university.

Description

The Adult Education and Workplace Development Program provides career and college readiness classes to non-native English learners. This can involve teaching ESL (English as a second language), literacy, math, or other job skills. We offer beginning through advanced courses in three locations around Pittsburgh: Monroeville, Homestead, and Carnegie.
