Mission Statement

Warm Hearth Village has been a refuge for seniors in need, helping them find a safe and comfortable place to live and even providing them with healthcare services when they are unable to pay.

Description

Proceeds from the Treasure Trove Thrift Store benefits the Warm Hearth Foundation's Neighbors in Need Fund. The Neighbors in Need Fund provides day-to-day support for residents who have "spent down" their estates and can no longer afford the full cost of their care. Each year the cost to provide this care is in excess of $500,000. Residents in Showalter Center and the Kroontje Health Care Center receive this financial assistance in a seamless and confidential manner.

Treasure Trove Thrift Store, located on the Warm Hearth Village campus and in Christiansburg, is a great place to shop, volunteer, and donate! Come discover great deals on jewelry, artwork, household items and vintage pieces. We are always accepting donations! Treasure Trove is a great place to volunteer, and we offer a range of opportunities to meet your skill set and availability! The Treasure Trove is a great place to volunteer! There are a variety of opportunities for volunteers of all skill-sets. The people are easy to work with and so appreciative of the help. I was able to organize donations and assist with deliveries. The Warm Hearth Foundation also addresses such an important need in our community, so it was great to be able to serve with them!
