Our Foundation aims at helping rural children receive a qualitative outstanding education. We have a volunteer teaching program to assist rural teachers and children get exposure to foreign languages and cultures. Because English is the second language in Thai schools, we will concentrate on improving the English language skills of both rural teachers and children.
We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available near the mid-May 2018. We are looking for volunteers to teach English and could stay at least eight weeks. We would love to have candidates who will stay for a whole semester or even a year, if possible. Couples are welcome too.
We provide the volunteers lodging and meals in return for their generous services. Please note that housing is on campus, smoking and consumption of alcoholic will not be allowed.
The volunteer teachers will teach the children English conversation and vocabulary in addition to their regular required English lessons.
Teaching experience is not required. However, we expect candidates will have the ability to acclimate themselves to the local customs and mentality. e.g. dress conservatively, no smoking nor drinking in public, avoid public display of affection etc.
We are dedicated not only to help the children but also to make the working and living conditions of our volunteer teachers really pleasant.
