Healthy Little Cooks is a non-profit that empowers kids with healthy cooking skills and leadership opportunities so they can help their community become a healthier place. Our initiatives provide hands-on culinary nutrition education programs to schools, kids and communities using active learning strategies that encourage families to cook healthy.

We are hosting our 5th Annual National Healthy Kids Cook-Off and Fit Kid Foodie Expo on Saturday, April 28th at the Columbia Mall. Twelve kids will compete in an iron-chef style competition to cook their recipes live in front of a panel of judges and hundreds of spectators. Our host is Kelly Swoope from ABC 2 and co-host Karen Campbell, a local journalist. McCormick is one of our national sponsors, and we always get amazing local support. Last year, in Howard County we engaged 30 schools and are on track for doing the same this year. Click here to learn more about the event.
