Description

Rupani Foundation (RF) is a Nonprofit 501(c) (3) Community Organization established in 2006 with the objective to improve the lives of marginalized segments of society through early childhood Education and skill development. RF considers ECD as an effective tool to break the vicious cycle of poverty.
Goals to
Ensure access to Early Childhood Development (ECD) to the all deprived, under-served, refugee and undocumented children age prenatal to 3 in Houston
Empower mothers as primary caregivers and first teachers through capacity building programs.
Ensure brain development during first 5 years.
Promoting the process of Serve and Return throughout the ECD session.
Empower mothers and families to create a non-violent, safe and conducive environment at home.
Advance physical and intellectual competencies.
RF has established a Parent-Child library at Ibn Sina Children’s clinic waiting area in collaboration with Collaborative for Children.
RF started Informed Parents (IP). IP is a unique program that empowers children, mothers, family, and caregivers for optimum development of their children through free high-quality ECD services.
Strongly believes in "Home is the first school and Parents are the best teachers", therefore, build parents’ capacity through training and enhance parenting skills.
Conduct prenatal sessions for the pregnant mothers to raise awareness about pre and postnatal care.
RF staff provide free babysitting services to mothers with more than one child.
