The Tucson Earth Day Festival is a celebration designed to inspire, educate and empower families to appreciate and protect Southern Arizona's unique environment and the Earth in a fun and free atmosphere.
The Tucson Earth Day Festival is an annual event that began in1995 through work from a variety of volunteers from local businesses, associations, government agencies and concerned citizens. It is a free, family-friendly venue where dozens of eco-focused local exhibitors provide fun hands-on activities and educaitonal displays about a multitude of environmental topics, such as: air quality, alternate modes of transportation, pollution prevention, waste reduction, water harvesting and conservation, renewable energy, native plants, and much more. Free entertainment is also provided, and food is available for purchase. We provide free bike valet parking and encourage people to ride bikes to the event. Between 3,500 and 6,000 attendees enjoy the event each year.
