The Movement Project’s mission is to challenge perspectives, evoke social change and bridge communities through the power of movement.
The Movement Project pushes boundaries by rejecting the predetermined notion of dance and dancers alike. Our work is significant because it challenges the viewer to be active in thought and action. It confronts the norm. It is relatable, self-reflecting, and it exposes the truth. Known and valued for our work in schools, our education programs integrate movement into other subject areas and allow students to explore dance, ask questions, formulate opinions and participate physically and mentally in a challenging movement experience.
