This is a group opportunity. You will need to bring at least 5 other people with you, but no more than 10. The date listed above is NOT the only option available. You can see the full list of dates available at https://bit.ly/johmeals. This opportunity is perfect for church groups, scout troops, families, groups of friends, and service groups! "We have made friends just sitting down and talking to each other during dinner...even more so than being around the group. I think the dinner is very important because everyone in the groups, we talk to each other all the time. But in the dinner, you get to interact with people that were in different groups." -Richard Prior to our peer grief support groups, participants share a meal together. We all know the importance of sharing a meal. This is especially powerful when those sharing a meal all have at least one thing in common....someone important to them has died. Provide a meal for those who are grieving and help them ease into an evening that may include some tough conversations, tears, and sadness. Please visit our website at www.johgriefsupport.org/group-night-meal-provider/ for more detailed information and a FAQ section. Ready to sign up? Visit https://bit.ly/johmeals. Feel free to sign up for more than one slot! We have locations in Frisco, Plano, and Dallas. The pandemic caused an increase of the number of children who will lose a parent or sibling by the age of 18. We need your support now more than ever. Thank you so much for your philanthropic heart and passion for serving others. Our organization would not exist without caring volunteers. *Note: If volunteers are under 18, they are required to have an adult parent/guardian present.* **We will reach out to you to confirm. Your volunteer role isn’t guaranteed until Journey of Hope reaches out to you to confirm.**
