In 2018, the TCDP has recruited over 80 candidates to run on its ballot as well as recruiting 270 democratic precinct chairs. The 2018 primary election was a history making 75,000+ Democratic turn out to vote with the 2018 mid-term election resulting in Beto O'Rourke, the Democratic candidate for Senate winning Tarrant County and beginning the trajectory of Tarrant County turning blue.
