Mission Statement
FLOW seeks to provide opportunities for students to connect to and collaborate with each other and community members. Through hands-on education and volunteer service, they will develop projects that impact them, their community, and the environment.
Description
Founded in 2018, we are determined to improve the environment of our local community and to improve the lives of all those we reach. We provide service learning and community improvement opportunities to the greater Dallas community youth. Some of the most significant advancements in our society have come from young people. Youth have incredible motivation to affect positive change in their communities but often need an outlet or the means to accomplish this goal. FLOW not only provides resources to complete these community improvement projects, but we also empower youth to create their own projects that can have a lasting impact on the environment and themselves. Some of these projects include school pollinator habitats, Blackland prairie restoration, and sustainable agriculture initiatives.
