Description

Envision Healthcare at Home was established in 2005 by six healthcare professionals who wanted to make a difference in their community.

With a board of directors that includes medical doctors, physical therapists, occupational therapists, a registered nurse, and a licensed social worker, Envision is inspired by more than good business-we’re infused with the spirit of care giving.

Envision has grown from a small operation in Utah County to be one of the largest care providers in the state of Utah. Currently serving Utah, Salt Lake, Weber, and Davis counties, Envision continues to win the trust of doctors, discharge planners, and patients throughout the state.

Envision is a great program, the employees I have interacted with have been very kind and helpful. I've enjoyed visiting patients and getting to know them. It can be sad to see individuals nearing the end of life, but it is fulfilling to build relationships and provide support for those going through a difficult time. I'm grateful for the opportunities I've had and people I have met!

I started volunteering to get hours for a school application but it turned into an opportunity I've cared about. I've come to love the patients I get to visit and enjoy seeing them weekly. I have been able to meet some wonderful people. Even when my patient doesn't remember me, I feel like we have grown a relationship and I can give support as they near the end of their life. Envision is a great company with a well-organized volunteer program and I'm grateful I found them for my service hours.

I had wonderful experiences working with hospice patients through this program. Life changing experiences. Completing the training to volunteer in this organization was a bit chaotic. You have to be self motivated to make sure your visit your patients.
