Mission Statement

The ForSight foundation (FF) is a non-profit organization established in 2001 to encourage and support education, medical research and training, both nationally and internationally. It is dedicated to help all human beings live a healthy, productive, and harmonious life regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion, or national, political, or educational background.

Description

The organization provides direct services to those with severe visual impairment and helped fund education to others who presently, and will in the future, provide such services. It also supports many successful projects that include, but is not limited to:

  • The FEBI project which provides American-standard eye care and training to rural areas in Egypt and establishes permanent ophthalmology services in many Egyptian cities.
  • The "No Child Left Blind" project which provides education and rehabilitation for children with visual impairment.
  • The IPROF program which provides training for healthcare workers and GME development in developing countries in partnership with US resources.
  • Egypt Light of The World Association (ELoWHA) which is being built as a modern hospital for clinical, academic, and social services.
