Mission Statement

The goal of the Placement Project is to match VISTA members with agencies and organizations to combat poverty with specific projects dedicated to building capacity and access to services in the Concho Valley. The Concho Valley VISTA Placement Project is supported by the Corporation for National and Community Service and the San Angelo Health Foundation.

Description

AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) members bring their passion and perseverance where the need is greatest: to organizations that help eradicat e poverty. The most pressing challenges we face as a nation require the most courageous and creative people to address them. An AmeriCorps VISTA member serves as a catalyst for change, living and working alongside community members to advance local solutions
