Description

Green_River_Lake is a multi-use flood control project located within the Louisville Engineer District. Green_River_Lake provides beneficial use of water, land, and fish & wildlife resources while affording opportunities for outdoor activities associated with a large body of water. Green_River_Lake covers some 8,200 water acres with a seasonal pool at 675 m.s.l. The total project contains over 32,000 acres with various developed recreational areas along with the majority of acreage set aside as a wildlife management area.
