We are looking for someone who is meticulous, dedicated and available for a rise-n-shine shift (7:45-9:45 AM). The unhoused population faces many difficulties. One that goes undernoticed is the inability to dependably receive mail. Here at MMH we have created a trusted dependable foundation for our guests to receive postage containing vital documents (IDs, Birthcertificates, Social Security) as well as personal correspondants. We are looking for someone who is able to sort, label and put incoming mail into our guests "mailbox" and, if there is extra time, give a hand with other odds and ends around the organization.

Mary Magdalen House (MMH) is looking for individuals to help us sort and organize our donations. With shifts available M-F from 8:30-4 and Sat from 8:30-12, we have time slots available to fit most schedules. From laundry and hygience products donated to the bags of clothes provided to us by private donors, we are looking for helpful hands to help bring order to what has been brought to us. Provided with a list of items of what we are accepting, sorters will help seperate, fold and either put items directly onto the shelves for us to give our guests or to place in a box to provide at a later date. Items that we can't use will then be rehoused to other local non-profits to ensure that any and all donations are being used to maximize our communities needs. Please let us know if you think you have what it takes to meet our teams needs. Parking available on sight for those who become consistent volunteers.

We are looking for dedicated thrifters who are looking for a behind-the-scenes adventure at a partner organization. At MMH we offer those experiencing homeless showers, the opportunity to wash an outfit of clothing (which we have provided) and the ability to receive mail. Helping the unhoused OTR community with dignified clothing needs while scratching your shopping itch, the Mary Magdalen House is looking for those with an eye for fashion. Armed with a weekly "shopping list", you will help rehouse clothing from our donations to our partner and then go through their bins to seek-and-find our organization's needs. Whether available once a week, bi-weekly or even once a month, we are simply looking for someone who is reliable and long-term oriented.

We are looking for individuals who can help rehouse some of our donations to other local organizations. Whether you have a favorite organization who you think might be able to benefit from what we can't use or whether you want us to point you to some of our local friends, all we ask of you is to help us transport what we are unable to use. From smart cars to trucks, we just want you to swing by once a week and we will fill you up with clothing or hygiene supplies to rehome. You are expected to have an eligible drivers license and your own personal insurance. MMH does not accept responsibility for any damage, accidents or injuries that occur while you are volunteering. You will be expected to sign our waiver and Code of Conduct before taking your first trip.

The shower house offers our guests the opportunity to have one outfit a day washed. The laundry assistant will assist a full-time employee helping to fold and sort the clothes, replacing them back in their assigned bags. Looking for a way to help the community, a few hours to practice zen folding or to get your foot in the door in an expanding non-profit, we have a place for you!
