Mission Statement

Founded and granted 501(c)(3) status by the IRS in 2016, Hootie’s Haven Animal Rescue Inc is committed to the care and rescue of dogs in the NW Georgia area from high kill shelters, abusive and neglectful situations, and owners who, for whatever reason, are no longer able to care for their pet. We welcome the public to visit us, and learn how they can make a difference by volunteering, donating, fostering, adopting, and educating others. All pets in our care are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, temperament tested, placed on flea/tick prevention, heartworm tested and treated if necessary, and given the opportunity to feel love, comfort, and safety. We operate entirely from public and private donations, and every dollar received goes directly to the medical and daily care of each pet.

Description

We are a licensed 501c3 animal rescue in the state of Georgia. We are a foster based rescue relying on volunteers to care for our Adoptable Pets. We rely on donations to support the pets in our care, as well as adoption fees to help cover their vetting expenses. We are a small, but extremely dedicated group of people who truly focus on the pet, and what is best for them for the rest of their lives!
