Description

The Women’s Global Cancer Alliance, Inc. (WGCA) is bringing together individuals and organizations with expertise in providing solutions to gender specific cancers, referring to all gynecologic cancers arising from the female genital tract, faced by women in developing countries. Together, they will link global strategies with local care, adapting to language, culture, political and business concepts. The Women’s Global Cancer Alliance, Inc. will accomplish these goals through a network of medical and non-medical, not-for-profit and for profit, government and non-government individuals and organizations that share a deep concern for women with cancer and allied health issues.

The organization is a 501(c)(3) for educational and scientific purposes promoting partnerships between public health, clinical and scientific disciplines; bringing innovation, strategy and execution into local communities; seeking solutions to system failures faced by women with gender specific cancers; encouraging exchange of ideas and best practices, experiences and opinion, through discussion, meetings and publications; and providing access to international experts and leaders working with people in developing countries as a way of improving local education, training and patient care.
