The mission of The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services is to protect children, the elderly, and people with disabilities from abuse, neglect, and exploitation by involving clients, families, and communities.

Description

The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) works with communities to protect children, the elderly, and people with disabilities from abuse, neglect, and exploitation. It also works to protect the health and safety of children in daycare, as well as foster care and other types of 24-hour care. We do this through investigations, services and referrals, regulation, and prevention programs.

I think that this is an amazing thing to do for kids, specially when they need someone to give them advice and need someone to lift them up. :)

To help a family in need, to bring a smile to a child that doesn't get to live the perfect life. That is what the world is about. Helping those that need us. Giving our time, hearts, and skills to others if we are gifted the opportunity to do so
