Description
Volunteers are the heart of our Hospice Team who provide the extra love and care which our patients and their families need during those difficult times. Patient volunteers provide emotional support by offering "friendly visitor services" to patients, their families and caregivers. Volunteers will read, play cards, listen to music, provide hand message to a patient or give relief to the caregiver.
Office volunteers provide clerical support in our office setting by answering telephones, preparing admission packets and filing patient documentation.
