Mission Statement

INART aims strenghts holistic art programs driven by local organizations in vulnerable communities in Central America, by promoting training programs and international artistic experiences that contribute to building healthier and safer communities in the region.

Description

INART promotes holistic art programs driven by local organizations in Central America that have resulted in a decrease of violence and delinquency in vulnerable communities.

The training programs and international artistic experiences are contributing to building healthier and safer communities. At the same time, participants are gaining experience in their fields of study, together with the opportunity to strengthen skills such as leadership, teamwork, and solidarity.

Our program´s activities promote self-care techniques and enhance conflict transformation by facilitating an understanding of both personal and community needs.

The arts create the potential space to explore and rebuild a sense of identity, family, and community.
