Mission Statement

The mission of the North Shore Community Land Trust (NSCLT) is to protect, steward and enhance the natural landscapes, cultural heritage, and rural character of ahupuaʻa from Kahuku Point to Kaʻena.

Description

The North Shore Community Land Trust (NSCLT) was founded in 1997 as a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and restoring the scenic beauty of the North Shore of Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi. With over 60,000 acres of undeveloped land, this area is incredibly important, not only to its abundant plant and wildlife, but also its residents and visitors. It is known for its world-renowned recreational opportunities, from surfing and sailing to hiking and snorkeling.
