We promote physical, emotional, and social health for people of all ages through the practice of parkour. We achieve this through educational programming and classes, advocating and designing spaces and cities for play, sharing free resources, and supporting community development.
The last 20 years has been marked by a steady and dramatic rise in sedentary lifestyles and obesity. It is well-documented that, child or adult, regular physical activity not only positively impacts the body but mental and social health as well. It is essential to lasting happiness and longevity.
Many of the options available today for traditional exercise and sports present serious barriers to making physical activity a regular and enjoyable aspect of every day life, including lack of affordability, access, knowledge, and inclusion.
Parkour is one of the most powerful pathways over, under, and through many of these obstacles blocking people engaging in life-long fitness.
OUR TARGET POPULATIONS:
While we provide programs to people across all dimensions of diversity, age, and income, we are especially focused on making expanding our impact on low-income, low-access, or under-served populations.
