The Bay Area MRC provides volunteer resources to assist the current public health care system in times of disaster, as well as education and community needs facilitation when emergency situations are not present.

Description

The Bay Area Medical Reserve Corps is a locally-based, medical personnel resource whose purpose is to augment, assist, and support the existing medical and public health systems in Bay, Washington, Jackson, Calhoun, and Gulf Counties during disasters and public health emergencies, as well as educate and facilitate the health needs of the public.
