Food Pantry Receiving

Volunteers are needed on Thursdays from 9:00am-11:00am to help stage food arrivals. There may be some light lifting involved. This is not high paced work and does have a go at your pace style and workflow. There may be times during the month that also a shift from 11:00am-1:00pm is available. Food Pantry Prep

Pantry Prep is a weekly get together of volunteers to prep for our weekly food pantry. Volunteers will sort food, make bags of food, personal care, pet items for a better community experience. There may be some light lifting involved. Pride Volunteer

Every year our organization sets up at different Pride events across Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. We will have multiple Pride event opportunities yet again this year and are looking for help in setting up, passing out info, connecting with the community, and having a bit of fun. OUR MISSION: TO CREATE A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF EQUALITY, EDUCATION, AND SUPPORT FOR THE LGBT COMMUNITY AND THEIR ALLIES.

Description

Have A Gay Day started as a social media movement which turned into a non-profit charity organization in 2014. Since that time we have started making moves towards peer to peer support and also have been working on a platform of education and conversation. Our goal is to empower the unity of community and providing support for those that need us.
