Mission Statement

Lillian’s Place works with vulnerable and at-risk youth who want a way out of their downward spiral but lack the support to effect change in their lives. Long before "giving back" had a name, I was taught that each of us is responsible for helping whomever we can, whenever we can. The key role that my grandmother played in motivating me to work with vulnerable and at-risk youth did not reveal itself until years after her death. Lillian’s Place not only bears her name but I am proud to continue her tradition of helping those who have nowhere else to turn. Her legacy of uplifting and empowering those in need is our foundation.

Description

Reunifying youth's back into the community who have been abandoned by their family, social service system. Our youth's will be linked with a resource specialist who will meet with them initially to see what it is they want our agency to help them with. Next there will be an intake process and the next steps is to discuss and setup goals for them which will help them to re-introduced back into society/community which will help them lead healthy, secure productive lives.
