Mission Statement

Kiwanis is a world-wide service organization whose mission is "Serving the children of the World." Our Club members are local people who are making a local difference to one child and one community at a time.. We are dedicated to providing important services to our community with a primary focus on children.

Description

The Kiwanis Club of Greater Ocean Pines/Ocean City provides services and support to the children and community of Worcester County, MD. We provide youth mentoring opportunities to elementary, middle and high school students through our Service Leadership programs; we fund raise to support local agencies who assist children and families in need such as Diakonia, CASA, Berlin Nursing Home, Worcester GOLD, Cedar Chapel Special School, 4 Steps Therapeutic Riding Program, Meals on Wheels, Holiday Family Shopping, etc. We also award about $15k annually in scholarships to graduating students.
