Mission Statement

The mission of the Gary Human Relations Commission "GHRC" is to promote equal opportunity with regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, gender identity, national origin, ancestry or disability in employment, education, housing and public accommodations.

Description

The Commission is charged with the responsibility to protect employers, real estate brokers, property owners and others from unfounded charges of discrimination. The GHRC is proud to announce it is now accepting community volunteers for the position of front desk receptionist throughout the year with summer opportunities available.
