Mission Statement

Reid Temple AME is a growing community of faith with three campuses in Glenn Dale and Silver Spring, Maryland, plus our newest location which worships at New Bethany Baptist Church in Washington, DC. Each Reid Temple location has its own unique features based on the diversity of its members, the kind of worship environments they strive to create, and their unique visions from God. What is identical in all locations is a shared dedication to the cause of Christ, a warm family feeling, the extension of love and grace to persons from all walks of life, and an unshakable commitment to the unadulterated Gospel of Jesus Christ. Reid Temple D.C. is an outgrowth of this expanding ministry intended to reach and minister to the needs of people in the Nation’s Capital.
