Mission Statement

The primary mission of the Library System is two-fold: 1. Provide and promote access to a rich amalgamation of relevant cultural and informational resources, including collections, programs, events, and services, that enable users to make meaningful decisions in their lives and self-actualize as full-fledged members of our democratic society. 2. Ensure Library collections, programs, events, and services are designed and presented with the goal of stimulating community members to make connections where none were noticed before - between themselves and their ancestors, between their culture and other cultures, between the individual and the community.
