To inspire and enable youth from all backgrounds, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, caring adults.
The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of Charleston purposefully directs resources to support efforts that will create high-quality afterschool and summer programming, in a safe and healthy environment, with positive role models. All of our programs have youth achievement goals with demonstrated outcomes that ensure our youth have the knowledge, skills and integrity to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.
We deliver programming in three focus areas:
Academic Success-graduate from high school with a plan for the future; ready to attend college, trade school, military or employment
Good Character and Citizenship-be an engaged citizen involved in the community and model strong character
Healthy Lifestyles-practice healthy lifestyle choices and make a life long commitment to fitness, nutrition, and healthy habits
