Mission Statement
Providing young adults the opportunities, resources and experiences to reach their potential and affect change in the world .At CORE, we believe in a world better than the one we see on the news today. The generation who will have the greatest impact on tomorrow, needs us now more than ever. This is our chance to give back, share what we've learned and speak into a generation that can do a better job than we have.
Description
The CORE challenge is a 3 month opportunity for young adults age 18-24, designed to cultivate work ethic, character and commitment. Participants are referred to as CORE Leaders because accepting the challenge is taking initiative to positively impact their life and the world around them. CORE Leaders live expense-free in one of our houses, and upon successful completion of the Challenge, become eligible for a $5,000 scholarship. The money is used for rent, depositis and starter furniture, allowing them to successfully transition to independence and jump start their life.
