Don't Waste Durham is a group of mobilized citizens working to reduce the amount of consumer waste produced by our community. Don't Waste Durham works toward its mission by: implementing prevention programs that eliminate single-use disposables like polystyrene foam takeout containers and plastic bags; advocating for evidence-based policy change around waste reduction; and raising awareness about waste reduction and encouraging reusable, compostable, and recyclable alternatives.
