Mission Statement

Each event on the PGA TOUR is dedicated towards donating to charity. Our event's proceeds go towards many local charities each year so we try to operate as tightly to our budget to increase that charitable donation number year after year. Those specific charities are Interfaith of The Woodlands, Golfers Against Cancer, the Southern Texas PGA Junior Programs, the Arabia Shriners, UnitedHealthcare Children's foundation, and the AJGA. It is our mission to run a world-class event and raise as much money as possible through sponsorship sales and other avenues to donate to our charitable partners. More than anything we are contributing to the larger mission of the PGA TOUR to generate a charitable and economic impact in the communities in which its events are held. The PGA TOUR and its tournaments donated more than $166 million to charitable causes in 2016 ($750,000 from our event). That's more than the other four major sports leagues combined.
