Mission Statement

Our Mission is to provide access to post secondary education for all youth in foster care. We invest the money we raise in youth from foster care through direct academic scholarships and college preparatory programs.

Description

50% of youth in care will be homeless within two years of leaving the system, and 78% of the current death row population spent time in foster care. The nsoro Foundation changes the course for foster youth by providing hope, guidance, and the critical funding needed to graduate from college.

nsoro Foundation is a amazing organization. I initially volunteered for the Starfish Ball, which was phenomenal. The planning and execution of the event was impeccable. I volunteer for a lot of events for multiple organizations. The Star Fish Ball has been, by far, the best event I've had the pleasure to be a part of. They sincerely treat the volunteers like they matter and are appreciated. It's also evident that they truly believe in and carry out their mission to serve foster care students. As a result of my initial experience, I have since volunteered several times in the office. I plan to continue volunteering as long as I can be of assistance.
